The 48th Annual Alaska Folk Festival is scheduled for April 10-16, 2023, at two Juneau locations: Juneau Arts and Culture Center (JACC) and Juneau-Douglas High School (JDHS) Auditorium. Ramp access to the performance stage is only available at JDHS, Friday through Sunday. JACC stage access is by stair only.
Evening performances Monday through Friday begin at 7:00 p.m. Festival performers are scheduled according to space and availability. All sets are limited to 15 minutes, including set-up. There is no guarantee that all applicants will perform. We strive to get as many different performers on stage as possible. Please, live music only. No pre-recorded music or slide shows. If you have special needs for your performance, please let us know when you apply.
Completed applications must be received NO LATER THAN 5:00 p.m., Friday, March 3, 2023. The tentative schedule will be sent to all applicants no later than March 10, 2023. This schedule will be your confirmation of a performance spot.
Please fill out all fields as completely as possible. Applications missing information are more likely to be waitlisted.
