Stage Craft Workshops for Performers - April 12th and 18th

Want to get the most out of your fifteen minutes on stage? Has the biggest obstacle to fame and future fortune been your fear of microphones and monitors? Do you struggle to hear yourself adequately? Should you DI your instrument or mic it? What's a DI, anyway? Do you know what you need and how to get it? Answers to these questions and many more can be yours!

Two Opportunities:

Sunday, April 12th, about 6:30 pm: The Folk Festival sound engineers (Lucy Peckham and Mike Sakarias) will help improve your stage craft. The workshop start time will be approximately 6:30 PM, immediately following the tech crew workshop.

Saturday, April 18th, 10:00 am: the 90 minute workshop will be repeated

Both workshops will take place on the main Festival stage in Centennial Hall, and will offer on-stage practice. Bring your instruments and voices and try things out.

Call Mike Sakarias at 586-4422 if you have any questions.
